California Campus Tours
Directions to GDB's California campus.
Drop-In Tours: Monday through Saturday at either 10:30 AM or 2:00 PM, with the exception of graduation days. See below for Graduation tours.
Drop in tours for small groups of 7 people or fewer are available Monday through Saturday at either 10:30 AM or 2:00 PM. No reservation is necessary. All tours depart from the Volunteer Center, first building on the left when entering the campus, and last 1 to 1.25 hrs.
Children's Group Tours (non-school):
- Children's group tours (including Scout groups) are available on non-graduation Saturdays at 10:30am
- Minimum age: Second Grade
In 2013, no tours will be offered:
- January 1
- January 21
- February 18
- May 27
- July 4
- September 2
- November 28 and 29
- December 24 and 25
- December 31
Graduations
- Campus tours are offered before Saturday graduation ceremonies at 10:30am and 12 noon. Graduation Dates
- Bus groups must pre-register prior to the day of graduation.
The following tours require advance reservations. Please use the Tour Request to enter your preferred dates.
Tour Bus Groups and Adult Group Tours for eight people or more:
- Monday through Saturday at 10am and 1:30pm
- Group maximum: 45 people or one bus
Children's School Field Trip Tours:
- School field trip tours are available Monday through Friday at 10am throughout the school year
- Maximum school field trip tour size is 35 students. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the program, school tours are limited to Grade Two and up.
- The Volunteer Office may also be able to arrange for in-school presentations, and/or can provide educational materials to teachers.

Guide Dogs' California Campus Gift Shop is open on graduation Saturdays from 10:30am to 4pm and for special events such as Fun Day.
Oregon Campus Tours
Directions to GDB's Oregon campus.
We'd love to have you visit Guide Dogs' Oregon Campus. For groups of 8 people or more, a reservation is required.
Guide Dog graduation ceremonies are open to the public and take place on select Saturdays at 1:30pm. Groups can schedule tours either before or after the graduations. Guide Dogs' Visitors Center is also open on Wednesdays from 10am until 3pm (the last tour leaves at 2pm).
To arrange a tour on either a graduation Saturday or on a Wednesday for groups larger than 8 people, please complete the Tour Request form or call our office at 503-668-2100.
Drop in tours for small groups of 8 people or fewer are available at graduations and on Wednesdays when the Visitors Center is open. No reservation is necessary, but please arrive no later than 2pm.
So that we may plan accordingly, tours of any size on days other than graduation Saturdays and Wednesdays require a reservation--please complete a Tour Request form or call Guide Dogs' offices at 503-668-2100 to make a reservation.
