Where There's a Will, There's a Way
Guide Dogs for the Blind board member Morgan Watkins happens to have a beautiful working Golden Retriever guide named Will, his second dog from Guide Dogs for the Blind. He's also established GDB as a beneficiary in his estate plans.
"I honestly never made the connection between my dog Will and my Legacy Society commitment," Morgan said, "but I guess you could say Will has been my way.
"I know how important charitable bequests are to the overall long term health of GDB. By including GDB in our estate plan, my wife DD and I wanted to insure a long-term commitment to a mission that we firmly believe in."
Remembering GDB in your Will or Trust is the easiest, most popular way to leave a legacy and make a lasting contribution that will support our services into the future.
- Make sure you include appropriate bequest language when you create your will or living trust.
