GDB's Inaugural Day Of Giving (DOG)

A woman kisses her guide dog; they are set against a green background with the words DOG - Day Of Giving - 9/25/24.

Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) is proud to announce that September 25 will be our first-ever Day Of Giving (DOG)!

This special day is a unique opportunity for the GDB community to come together during National Guide Dog Month and help empower even more individuals who are blind or visually impaired to live the life they want to live.

In honor of this inaugural event, a generous donor has issued a $30,000 matching challenge. That means if you can help us meet our goal to raise $30,000, that amount will be matched!*

Funds raised through GDB’s Day Of Giving will help provide more guide dog teams with expert training and a lifetime of support at no cost to them.

Another way to participate in National Guide Dog Month is to start a fundraiser. Thanks to our new PAWSitive Impact fundraising platform, it’s never been easier to share your passion for GDB with your friends, family and coworkers—and encourage them to share their support, too.

Get started on your personal fundraiser and make your PAWSitive Impact right away.
