Our volunteers are part of the family here at Guide Dogs for the Blind, and the volunteer opportunities we offer can satisfy all of the above and more. Our wide variety of more than 65 interesting volunteer job descriptions will give you the chance to find a volunteer position perfectly suited to your individual interests and talents at either of our campuses.
Volunteer opportunities exist in a variety of departments and serve our clients, our dogs, and our administrative offices.

Guide Dogs for the Blind has more than 700 volunteers on our two campuses.
Campus volunteers must meet a minimum age requirement of 18 and commit to one year of service.
June 2021: GDB is currently assessing and evaluating ways to safely bring new volunteers to campus. While we determine the best way to do so, we have temporarily paused volunteer applications.
