We have a total of nearly 300,000 square feet of building space
Why Facilities
You’ll find a challenging variety of systems and projects at each of our multi-acre campuses – enough to keep you busy, engaged, and always learning something new. We have many different environments, including offices, kennels, veterinary clinics, a residence hall, a commercial kitchen, and a water treatment plant – each with its own plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems and controls. Every day will be different.
Because we are a self-contained campus, you will get to know how things run as you develop relationships across departments and provide services to different teams. Plenty of customer service is required, and you will enjoy the friendly, high-quality people here. Plus, you can bring your dog to work!
Our small, close-knit Facilities teams work together, providing support and teaching each other. You may even have the opportunity to travel between our California and Oregon campuses when help is needed.
You’ll work a consistent 40-hour schedule, Monday through Friday, with an occasional weekend day when we have a graduation ceremony. Unlike many facilities jobs, we have no night hours and we’re flexible when you need to take some time to manage your life. This is a career that supports a satisfying mission.
GDB offers the kind of benefits package that is rare for facilities jobs. In addition to competitive pay for your skills, we offer 11 paid holidays, two weeks of vacation, sick time, and many more health, wellness, and financial benefits to eligible employees. Plus, you will enjoy training opportunities and assistance in getting licenses.
